As you practice these floor stretches, ALWAYS remember this:
NEVER push yourself beyond your ability!
When you stretch, only do as much as you can. If it starts hurting a little bit, you’ve reached your limit already! Do not stretch beyond that point, or else you may get hurt.
“Point, Flex, Reach Forward”
Typically the first stretch performed on the floor!
One of my favorites: the “butterfly stretch”!
Like the butterfly stretch, except upside down!
Back Stretch & Cat Stretch
These are two separate stretches, but they always go together!
“Middle Splits Stretch”
We open up to middle splits and reach forward, left, and right.
